  1. Hi Francois, Welcome, my Bushbaby came from over your way, it relocated around 2006. I have the "training wheel" and the 582. Cheers Clint
  2. Congrats and enjoy the journey. Cheers Clint
  3. Raaus mailing out from office. They had a few astray this month.
  4. Just curious about whereabouts of June issue. Did other people recieve theirs and when, like early in the month or late. Australia post seems to be getting slower.
  5. Even simple items like horse floats I see all the time are poorly constructed from light materials and axles that snap clean like made off ice. People keep buying them to save money in initial purchase, only to find them unrepairable or expensive to rectify.
  6. Some of us have less than 6 fingers round these here parts
  7. Good outcome to walk away with only a dinged machine.
  8. does anyone know what happened this afternoon near tamworth.
  9. First time as a student was in a Thruster T500, after my short break of 19 years it was a 2004 Sportstar then, like a Ferrari by comparison.
  10. But what a beaut ute it is.
  11. This plane stuff is tricky. You have to think 5 steps ahead, what happens if I do this?, if it breaks what happens? I am putting a trim tab in a plane that did not have one to start with and its already been back to the think tank a few times. I like that all the thinking is being done by someone else on this one.
  12. do you mean you were just winging it
  13. Hi, got sorted.the local info centre picked up for me and posted. Cheers Clintonb
  14. Hi, do any members live near Maryborough that would be able to pack and post a small lot from the John fisher auction for me. I would be happy to pay for their services and costs. Got a scary quote from the company recommended by auction house. PM me if you can help. Cheers Clinton B
  15. I agree. Would want reversible prop pitch to not run away. Specs are great if you want to get somewhere fast but that valley strip looks like a supercub would be more at home.
  16. Welcome Jimbojim.
  17. Looking forward to seeing it progress.
  18. Congrats. Beware it is addictive you can't just have one. Like Tim tams
  19. Looks like a sport star from the canopy and tail fin
  20. Where are all those easy to build flats gone? This looks to hard
  21. Whatever you do, if it's for you don't put it off. I had a 20 year gap between flying lessons and you can't gain it back ( the time). Have heaps of fun in your endeavours. Even the times when you don't get things just right are still learning points. Cheers and welcome. Clinton.
  22. This guy would have plans built this aircraft, and to do so would have taken skill. I doubt he would change the engine and not do a new w&b before hopping in it. It's a shame most people hear homemade and think of sticks and duct tape with an engine.
  23. Looks like the ragwing storch by the paint job, watched it on you tube a few times
