    Stabilizer ???

The booked has not fitting the last end plate crossed out. So I fitted it. I take it there is no need to fit it when it's all hooked up to the elevator.
  2. Yes I think yours is on the side and mine in the middle. Thanks Lyndon
  3. Fitting the trim servo. Book is very ordinary. Picture of it mounted and the wiring would would tell a thousand words. Lyndon
  4. Thanks
  5. Spare black block
  6. Perfect. I have one block left. I take it that will be used later some where else
  7. I have two identical blocks left. One on either side of the nose skin or is one used somewhere else. The cable is installed so the adjuster will be up the front of the plane as this makes sense to me. Lyndon
  8. Block in
  9. It's says use the middle block. There is three of these. Mine has four. Pretty sure it's right
  10. Thanks Mark. Your going to be a busy man over the next 6 months.
  11. Before I button it up. Have I thread the correct end through it. It can go in either end Lyndon
  12. I will now replace these three rivets
  13. Mark great info. I too just found my counter sunk rivets for my fin. Three a4 ones. The four a3 rivets that fit the retainers in the same spot I take it are just normal a3 rivets. Lyndon
  14. I've had a look. Don't guess you know roughly what page. Lot of information on your build. Lyndon
  15. Ta will take a look Thanks Lyndon
  16. I've got the Billy on
  17. I used protec 408. Two pack and is excellent. Not as nasty as the best products eg strontiom chromate from ppg but I was not prepared to use nasty chemicals. Degrease scourer pad metho and spray. It's a perfect base for single stage two pack for your top coat. Ferrours and non ferrous But only prime when you ready to paint. You can do a wet on wet for even better results. Remember once the primer is about 36 hrs old it's no longer primer and should not have a top coat on it. Lyndon
  18. Gday. I have primed and about to assemble. Fitting the plastic tips on the fin and rudder. No pre drilled holes. Any tips. I would rather learn by other people's mistakes as I'm sure I will do something wrong. Thanks Lyndon

I tried buying those dessers for 109 bucks. Looks like they don't ship overseas and won't answer emails. Spruce don't have them. Just the polished jobs for 229. Lyndon

I would think most of my landing is rough and Rocky. Not really beaches and sand in south Australia

Yep I'm onto to wide fork. Be nice not to spend that money if not needed. I have bought it for a rough strip plane. A bit of speed does not concern me. Of course weight does. The Cart tyres seem very light. So maybe spend the 250 or so on the fork and axle. Then three cart tyres and carry a spare tube. I have three in the kit I'm not using nd I'm sure will work in a bind.
