    Some one said it is impossible to roll a jumbo. You had better not tell Bob Hoover and his mates. I really seem to remember them doing it to "demonstrate" the 747 when it was first released.

    Hey folks. I think I have asked before, but here goes again. Last night I was in bed at 21:30. I could just make out the noise from the city, when a BIG helicopter came into range. It buzzed around and went away, but not out of range of hearing it. This went on for about half an hour. I got up and checked with radar but there wasn't anything flying - with an ADSB anyway. Eventually it went away but I was wondering what it was doing. It wasn't over a specific suburb looking for someone/thing and not following a stolen car. From what I could make out, it was anywhere from Sydenham to Leichhardt to Burwood.

    And what is going to happen here (NSW) with the state elections just around the corner an the "sell off" of the wires and poles of the electricity network? I wonder?

    On the "killing of birds". I can't give links, but have seen the show QI. They mentioned this and it is the local pressure pulses which kill small "birds" like bats because it destroys their lungs. I am sure youtube and a quick search can yield information.

    That was my first suggestion. Well he said the engines were BIG and 340's don't have that big an engine.

    A person I know who is a bit of a plane person asked me about a plane he saw recently. He lives down near Minto and saw a UAE plane fly over but it had 4 BIG engines like a 777. But 777's have only 2 engines. He knows what a 380 looks like and he says it wasn't one of them. Just wondering if anyone knows what he saw.

    'BE STRONG HONEY I LOVE YOU !!!' A man escapes from a prison where he's been locked up for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns. Inside, he finds a young couple in bed. He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair. While tying the homeowner's wife to the bed, the convict gets on top of her, APPEARS TO kiss her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband whispers over to his wife: "Listen, this guy is an escaped convict. Look at his clothes! He's probably spent a lot of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck. If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain... do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is obviously very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us both. Be strong, honey. I love you.” His wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me that he's gay, thinks you're cute, and asked if we had any Vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you, too...”

    With minimal fuel, no PAX or cargo, I think the MLW will be somewhat less than "normal".

    I think the "powers that be" have already "done the numbers" for what it needs to land there. If it was going to damage the runway I don't think they would let it land. But who am I to know?

    Ok, nice. But if there is a "go around" it would be interesting. Using the South runway, what happens with the hills at the southern end? And forgetting the go around, could they land on the Northern runway with that hill there?

    Teck, I didn't mean to sound like I was having a go at you. I was only stating the error with how the "CVR" (Camera) was misquoted in what information it was giving, etc.

    Granted he did more than one flight. But all data from previous flights and what passengers did (or didn't do) is kinda null and void. The only data which is of importance is that of the last flight.

    I don't mind looking in the "female clothing section" but it is upsetting for me that the models don't come with the items. I guess they are an "extra cost" which I haven't considered.

    Hang on! Ok, the "go pro" camera survived. They got sound and video (looking out the window I would hope.) How the &^*&^* can they say they "heard" people taking selfies? What is to say they weren't taking pictures out the window? However: Doing that at MIDNIGHT does seem a bit silly.
