Now I get it
$$$$$$but like running any business, it's only worthwhile if you make some profit.

My grandmother was a keen gardner and always kept a bucket and shovel just in side the front gate. When either the milkmans or the bakers horse left droppings on the road, she'd scoopt it up and put it on her garden.
One morning she told the milkman that she liked to put it on her rhubarb.
He with his typical pommie humour replied "Thats different lady! my wife puts custard on mine"

Welcome to the forums Kanga. Great to have you on board mate:cheers:.
Out of curiosity, do you hail from the UK originally like me?
The reason I ask, is that when I first arrived here decades ago, I used to say "Good Day" to everyone when the Aussie way is simply G'day.
Still means much the same hopefully, but I believe in the old saying "When in Rome do as the Roman's do".
Not having a shot at you at all, but if this the case? Hope it helps you becoming Ausified.
Look forward to hearing more from you.

A bit like the girl I took to the movies in my younger days, she hid the maltesers up her jumper.
Didn't take too long to find them though:black eye:

That's sad Maj, can just imagine how he felt bringing home his new pride and joy.
Hopefully he'll be ok and can get it repaired to fly again, but it looks like a lot of work is reqd.

That includes the tyres that still managed to hang together.Damned impressive engineering to take that punishment! -
Bragger!Juice bottles are better! They have a bigger lid. -
Who cares Kaz!Obviously designed by a bloke!KazThere have been times i'd pay a lot more than $7.50 even for an empty coke bottle:yikes:

You haven't been in touch to go for a fly.Greg.One to Ians place thats fine, and so Corrine doesn't whinge about too many toys, just drop the other one off to Planey's joint and put it on the Clear Prop stock account:tongue in cheek:

As an old model builder I can relate to your aprehension.
Not always easy to make a decision, but if you do sell it, only look forward to future interests and try not to look back.
A bit like getting a new woman in your life I suppose:bash:

Looks fantastic Alan, well done and thanks for posting the pics.

Hey Bex, some bast*rd behind where i'm living has a german shepherd that barks every morning from 6.35am till about 9. if any of your mates are hungry?, i'll happily forward you the address. You can order dog locally although it's more prominent up North while cat can be had in the South. It's not just a tail, errr tale. -
BTW please forgive but it's been nagging me so have to ask, when you're in the left seat would that make you a DIC....?
No! Just a PIC... Pensioner in Control:yikes:
Just watch out for the RAAF moustache, long scarf and a wide brimmed hat, just like the old blokes driving a Volvo. Then go by road.

Flew Syd-Melb twice with Tiger and had similar delays to you Ian on both occasions----never again!
Jetstar stuffed us around big time on 3 0f the 4 flights ive had with them. Last time they re-sheduled the flight to 1hr earlier and no one let us know. Had to part with $170 and wait a further 2 1/2hrs for next flight.
Never ever had a single problem with Virgin, though it probably does happen occasionaly, and recently flew back with them from Coffs and I only counted 26 pax. Jetstar seem to pull the plug if it's not about 85% full.
Next time you get stuck, simply call our mate at Andy Air:plane: His service sounds pretty good to me.

My son came home from school one day and told me that he'd learned in scripture that they had motorbikes back in biblical times.
I replied "that's utter nonsense son"
Tis true Dad!............ After the Battle of Jericho, all you could hear was the roar from Joshua's Triumph

Congratulations Tomo, so happy for you both.
I have a mate in Greenwell Point, he's doing it in about a months time.
Think it must be the South Coast air? or, probably this

Whats so good about this place, it dosen't matter what mistakes you make, while learning, you are probably not the first to make it, and the guys on here are happy to post about their discrepancies, so others can learn from their mistakes.
You are in good company thats for sure.
Kind Regards

Butch. So much to learn on here from others.

Phone rings, woman answers.
The Pervert, with heavy breathing, says, "I bet you have a tight ar*e with no hair?"
Woman replies, "Yes, he's just come back from flying with his mate - who shall I say is calling?"

Pelican from Holland to Melbourne
in Just Landed - Welcome
Posted
I've seen a few old aircraft that have been converted to living quarters and some of them are amazing.
Tell them not to call it the "Clear Prop" suite, because Ian might want them to buy his headsets to listen to to the mood music, when they're not even in the mood.
