Great to see Brumby branching out into the world market after years of hard work.

I used to regularly drive pass the Goair hangar at Bankstown to see the GT-1 Trainer progressing, prior to their move to Cowra..

Years ago while driving in the bush, I stopped my van as my passenger and I were convinced we'd seen a UFO in the night sky. We even stopped and took photographs hoping to make a fortune from the press. As it turned out, we got got further down the road and found the local scout group had a bonfire and sheets of newspaper in flames were being carried into the night sky with the heat from the fire.

Sometimes things are not always what they seem, and "bugger", we never got a cent for the photo's.

Dad got his pax endo and we got to go for a fly together.My first time in a J170. Not a fan but perhaps I just need a few hours in it to get accustomed to it.

 

But a very nice jaunt together was had. Especially since its been 2 months since I've gotten into the air.

but the jab is still usable. .

Beautiful city and some great flying.

Unfortunately, the majority of people these days want to buy everything on the cheap, and in a way, you can't really blame them for that.

Quality, is a bit like buying oats.

If you want good clean quality oats? then you have to expect to pay a fair price for them.

However, if you are content to buy oats that have already passed through the horse, they normally come at a much cheaper price.

Outside their factory Nth West of London they used to have a sign (and probably still do) stating how many lives had been saved worldwide. It's a mind-blowing number, probably up around the 10,000 mark by now, so it's sad to see litigation after such an inspiring run of successes.

Welcome to the forums. You bought back memories of numerous flights I made with British Eagle in Britannia's via Perpignan when holidaying in Spain, until Gerona Airport opened..

Climbing out of Perpignan in the Pyrenees Mountainson a hot day, the mountain tops seemed a bit too close for comfort. One aircraft had the seats facing the rear of the aircraft, but that idea never really caught on.
