    My random thoughts FWIW: As you say, you may have a low pressure in the tanks due venturi effect or climbing to altitude. Do the pressure indications change with time/altitude/airspeed. Is the fuel pump a suction or pressure pump? Gravity: Relative positions of header tank and wing tanks.

    Learmonth and Curtin are not very often, so suspect the same for Scherger. Fly by after 3pm on a Friday and you are probably quite safe!

    Some places may charge for an entire 44 even if you only use 20 litres from one.

    Weipa perhaps? I have not been that way since the 90's. Scherger airspace might be a consideration at times.

    Had a ride in Trappo's P51 a looong time ago. $200 Johnny Cash for about 20mins. I have heard a figure of circa $20,000aud/hr for a Spit in the UK now days 😳
