A witness on tonight's news said she heard the plane fly over her house with a spluttering engine, then heard the crash. Two deceased.

pure wild speculation : crashed right near a power line......So,  forced landing, and then got tangled with a powerline ?  if was  inflight fire...we will know about a fire because they would have called a mayday.

good observation. Looking at the flightradar info, it looks like they were doing everything right. Hitting a line would explain a lot. This is extra sad.

can anyone tell which way in the picture there would have been flying ? IE just crossed the road, visible, or coming from the other direction etc ?
