My current Traser tritium watch is getting hard to see. The hands and face are almost the same colour and I can't tell the time at a glance, with or without my glasses.

 

What's reccomended for flying? Digital or analogue? White face? Smart watch?

For a man of your talents, a tiny paintbrush and a tub of radioactive paint and the Traser will be good as new!

With most EFISs (electronic flight information system displays) and EFB (electronic flight book - iPad with mapping) having a time display watches are more a matter of personal preference than a requirement.

 

I am using a Citizen black face with white numbers.

I'm hoping the family take the not so subtle hints I have been dropping and I get a Garmin D2 Mach 2 for my birthday.

 

Alternatively if I get a decent bonus this year I will buy one myself
