I'll say that again: It is not known if anyone was in the plane Seriously? I'd attach a video but it is 27 meg in size. I'm not sure of size limits here. Oh, the clip I have - as there are squillions now on the net - if C/O Ch 7. Who really know aviation terms. 1

flying dog Posted June 27 Author Posted June 27 I tried Handbrake, but it didn't like the Apple original format. 😞 I pointed to the directory and the file (Original) wasn't shown. 🤷♂️ Further digging I was told that I could "cheat" and run quick command to "convert" the MOV to MP4 and so did that. Sorry folks for the big size and not deleting the original failed attempt. I thought I deleted it and posted the new version in that post, but - obviously - that didn't happen. 2

onetrack Posted June 27 Posted June 27 It's going to worry the Chinese Govt a whole lot more. The aircraft was a two-seat Sunward SA 60L Aurora, rego B-12PP, and it was piloted. The building is identified as "the CITIC building, and CITIC is one of China's biggest corporations. The pilot appears to have been one Liu Junhua, a managerial-level employee of China CITIC Bank. The pilot was killed and 13 people inside the building are reported as being injured. Though it seems the government has shut the whole show down, for now. China Grounds Light Aircraft AVWEB.COM The pilot was killed and 13 people were injured after a light sport aircraft hit CITIC Tower in Beijing's central business district in China. facthunter Posted July 3 Posted July 3 (edited) Apparently China has Private Pilots, much the same as most Places. IF that has changed as a result of this then that is another Matter and I would assume it's likely to be temporary. Nev Edited July 3 by facthunter more content.
