Hi everyone!

Just joined the forum. I'm Nikola, a sport pilot from Serbia flying a Falke SF-25C TMG. I also have some hours on Blanik and IS-28 from my earlier gliding days.

I'm also an IT guy, so naturally I ended up building a free GPS flight tracking app for pilots called Pilot Flight Tracker. It automatically detects touch-and-goes, logs your circuits, and lets you replay and analyze your flights afterwards. Figured it might be useful for other pilots too, especially students doing circuit training.

If you give it a try, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Looking forward to being part of this community!

Downloaded the app.

Will try it out on next flight.

Hello @BrendAn, just checking in - did you get a chance to try the app?
🙂

In the meantime, I've shipped several updates including timezone support for cross-country flights, improved flight analysis, and more.

Would love to hear your thoughts - and if anyone else here has tried it during actual flights, I'd be very interested in real feedback (rather than opinions based on screenshots).

Cheers,
Nikola

Thanks! One thing I really like about it is that it gives pilots the ability to independently analyse their own flying - no need for anyone else to time your circuits or take notes (but it can also help flight instructors, like we use it on local airport). The data is all there after landing, ready to review - whether you're flying PPL, SPL, TMG, or anything else.

Looking forward to hearing what you think after your next flight!

I have used it once and it worked well but I only did one touch and go.

Hope to give it a longer run next weekend.

Thank you!

Please use latest version, since I had lots of updates in last few months. Also, be free to ask any question, I will be glad to help you with the app.
