409tonner Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Has anyone on this forum or know anyone that uses Starlink mini in their aircraft while airborne? I have seen a couple youtube videos from USA that you can’t use it anymore over 80 knots without now subscribing to a rather expensive plan . I was wondering if this applies to the Australian region .I am lead to believe that it is restricted due to the mini been used in drones in the current wars .I use a mini in my vehicle but I have never tried it in my aircraft.

Drive your vehicle over 80 knts on a quiet Rd and see if it still works.

BrendAn Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Would have to be an electric car. To expensive to use petrol😁
BurnieM Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I believe it is all Starlinks and internationally. You cannot go over 100mph (87kt) unless you buy an aviation plan. The cheapest aviation plan (up to 300mph) is US$250 and 20GB per month.
