Tool was made of plastic, most likely to prevent engine damage.

Not the most damaging of tools. I had a Giant shifter left in the front of an R-2000 in Lae. For some reason ESP? I decided to remove the seat belt and open the window to hang out and have a good look. Never done it before or since. They had been blowing the Magneto's out with dry Nitrogen.
