One  flying pic of that had the camera mounted on the tailfeathers section and the gyrations of it (Rubbery) was quite scary..   Nev

I hate to think how many rich idiots will buy one of these things and ignore any aviation laws and regulatory requirements, and just take to the air with gay abandon when they feel like a flight. No flight planning, no understanding of aviation requirements, and little flight and piloting training.

The nose wheel for the road test vehicle and the flight test vehicle seem very different.

Does the Fan propel it on the road? .  Nev

You have to hunt for it, but from their FAQs - In Drive Mode, the gas engine is connected to a generator that directs power to an electric motor that powers the wheels.

When you transition to Flight Mode, our proprietary Skybrid system automatically changes from wheel power to prop power, and the wheels are automatically disconnected after takeoff.

Yep I can imagine the fan stopping and the wheels spinning just after takeoff...
