facthunter Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 The step piston is not a new idea. I think it was Dunelt who used it 100 years ago. The vee configuration gives good piston inertia flywheel effect continuity. Driveshaft outrigger bearing and dual idler gears is nice.. Nev

Nev Norton were developing a Favel/Wulf stepped piston engine in the 70s.
