  1. Yep. That’s the next update.
  2. UPDATE Hire Aircraft added to the system. This allows you to add a new flight in a hired aircraft. Have a look - send me any comments you need to. πŸ™‚
  3. FSM. Rv 6 with IO-360 A1A very glad they survived.
  4. Right there in the menu!!
  5. Great idea! Done! I have added the full list of available fuels in a drop down list. I have also added it now to the Aircraft page, so you can choose a default type, so when you add fuel, it will automatically pick the default setting. (You can still change it if you use multiple fuel types)
  6. As the others have said. It seems like a good idea to have endorsements listed in your logbook - but you really don't need it, and there is no requirement under Part61 for that. You can get a reprint, but if you are CASA, they are listed on your license, etc. Same with the AFR now. In the CASA world the instructor signs your licence book, not your logbook. You can add notes into the flight record of the App, to say it was for an endorsement etc. Yeah man - I am looking at this now. Getting a more detailed maintenance system to track costs and activities - So yes - we should see something soon. Happy to take whatever ideas you guys thing would work.
  7. All good man! It is coming along quite nicely. Still open for any ideas and suggestions. I should have that request for the Hire Aircraft you asked for ready to deploy shortly.
  8. Yep! You certainly can. See screenshot. Not only can you import, but you can also match up columns to ensure all the data lines up!
  9. This will run on any platform. It is device agnostic! πŸ™‚ So yes, you could run it on anything that can open a web page. That is the beauty of it! There is no software to install. It runs native in a browser. Ads - NEVER! My pet hate. We will not share your data with ANYONE!
  10. SO.... Lots of changes added today. We now have a full running changelog, so you can see what we are doing, and we have a full support ticket system inside the app where you can request functions or report issues. A lot of work today! LOL!
  11. You could simply log in, play around like you are flying 200 a year, and see what you think. Most GA rec pilots do less than that a year! LOL! Up to you. If you are interested, PM me your email address
  12. Right now, it needs connection. The plan is for it to work offline - but we have a bit of other work to complete before that option lands. Once we have all the final functionality, with help the Beta Testers, that will be on the development list.
  13. Hello all, So, It is a long story, but I have created an online pilots logbook app, and I am looking for a few people who would like to test it and have play in exchange for lifetime access. We are in Beta testing now, and so it is good time to get other eyes on the project and get feedback. The system is running on an enterprise server via our WPEngine solution, is robust, backed up, and secure. We have designed the log to be Part61 compliant for pilot records, and added some other goodies - but we are always open to new ideas. We also designed it to run on a tablet device with nice large fonts and buttons. Making it dead set easy to do your logs right there in the cockpit, before you even get out of the plane - AND - your data is yours. You can export it anytime you like. You can even export a Part61 compliant report if you need to submit signed copies to someone. πŸ™‚ The site can be found at https://mylog.info and is called VNE Logbook, and you can import extisting log books too! So you are not starting from scratch - including your aeroplanes. πŸ™‚ You can't sign up from the site right now, as we are testing, so if you want to join, let me know and I can send you an invite. We will only take a small number people, so please only reach out if you are keen. Any questions - Let me know! πŸ™‚ Cheers John
  14. Yep! That is exactly what I did. I had RAA Pilot Cert with Nav and Prop Endorsements. Went to RPL, and they gave me Nav, Radio and MPPC. I then went and did CTA/CTR endos, and I can now go anywhere in my RV7. πŸ™‚
  15. Yeah - That is likely me. Aeroplane - it should be I think. Likely to separate fixed and rotary flight reviews.
  16. For transparency - I own and operate Australia's first and longest operating RPAS training organisation - FPV Australia. Happy to answer any questions re drones etc.
  17. Negative. There is no requirement for a radio anymore. In fact, most hobby flyers won't even know what a relevant event is, let alone where to find radio frequencies (and can't without certification anyway!
  18. OK... Let's clear this up, and it is really easy.... To fly in controlled airspace, you must hold a current Part61 CASA licence, with CTA endorsements. The only way to keep that current is to do an AFR in a VH registered aircraft. (Now called an Airplane Flight Review - every 2 years) That's it. No more no less. The good thing is, RAA will recognise that AFR, in place of an RAA BFR, and your RAA certificate will reset for another 2 years. CASA will not recognise an AFR in an RAA registered aircraft. Why not? Ask CASA - but they don't. That should clear it up.
  19. I hear ya lads! When I noticed this slight change to the Part101 MoS, I raised it with CASA, as I didn't think allowing anyone to fly a drone over the airfield was a good idea, but was told... No. This change will stay. 😞 Not my idea of a good time!
  20. Yep! As Bernie mentioned above. Current arrangements are, if you convert your RPC to RPL (Not that hard to do actually) you will need to get CTA/CTR endorsements, and you will need to complete a BFR (in a GA machine) every 2 years to keep it.
  21. I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would throw this in... Not that long ago CASA made some changes to Part101 MoS (Part 101 is for RPA) and they removed the restrictions preventing anyone from flying within the airport boundary. Yes - you read it right - they removed the restrictions. (Non controlled of course) So now, someone can legally fly a drone inside the airport boundary (not during a relevant event). Which is when you an crewed aircraft operating within 3nm of said airport. Sounds nuts?? Because it is!! 😞
  22. UPDATE. Had a response re losing a month, and was basically told, it is all from the month it gets processed. They alert 60 days from expiry, so if you act early, you will lose a month! LOL!
  23. I have sent an email asking for a please explain. Let's see what comes of it.
  24. Hello All, I thought I would share my recent experience in renewing my ASIC. I got the email that it was coming up, and actioned it straight away. I chose the post office option, so went down that day to the Post Office to get it processed. Wed 1 April. 7 Days later I received an email to say it was approved. Wed 8 April The following week I had the card in my hand. The only gripe I have is my existing card, that I have no sent back, expired in May. This new card expires in April. So being quick to renew, actually means I have lost a month, so I should have waited until 1 May to renew. But I had heard the horror stories and didn't want to risk being without one. PS - This was through Veritas. Cheers J
  25. Hmm... I would be interested in this too man.
