  1. If the weather is as good as today without the fog it would be great to fly to.  the program is in again tommorrow.

huntervalleyairshow.com.au has a flying in page with frequency’s and times for arrival.

great show today. Only downside was 40 minutes without moving in car park whilst people pushed in from sides, on exiting, main road Marshall’s were excellent at moving traffic once you got there.

  2. It can be a lot worse. I only got 8 hours in on a mandatory 4 months oil change in C182 at a cost of $400 for filter and oil change( along with 50 L per hour of Avgas). Been busy on good days and shitty weather on days off, about 4 hours up now and not far from next one. How oil causes a plane to fall out of sky I have no idea, but thems the brakes as they say. This is on top of a 100 hourly that made a dent in $3500.00 to comply with. “Free” rego and no licence fee directly does have its draw backs.

i need to get my RAA plane going again.

  3. I thought an RPL did not cost per year, but requirement to pay for medical $75.00 unless you have extra stuff to test for.

also BFR to be completed. should still need RAAus membership, and current Raa BFR to jump in numbers plane.

i don’t think my RAAus is current due to not taking BFR on time, even though I fly around 50 hrs a year in VH rego.

    cheers

  4. Fresh meat and Vegetables work well,  funny that when there was less take away options on every corner and people ate at home we all seemed slimmer and more active. I’m only a seventies vintage and I do not recall seeing so many large people as now (including in the mirror)

  5. Our local storage dam had the wall raised a few years ago by 2 metres. It took away the road on the far side, increased the storage by 50%. But they did not think to dig out the millions of tonnes of silt from the shallow end whilst the dam was close to empty for 4 or 5 years. It appeared to be several metres deep even in the river entry end (judging by the original landscape shape). The increase in depth would have to be a gain better than surface area.

  6. I found the Man Challenge works in changing your mind set on food and works for a small input of exercise with no machinery/equipment. i have only gained weight back due to laziness (not spending 1/2 hr walking and 10 mins exercising each day) which I i now have to work harder at.
