    Sure, and the current industry is of course important to support and invigorate, I'm just suggesting that the people who don't arrive in an airplane are a more important target auidience to substain and grow the industry. With the modern gen I believe more fighter related planes like the Tuscano, more colourful stuff like the Foxbat, and like them or not, Euro plastics. An 'X' gen is more likely to want an Opal Facet than a Chipmonk.

    I think some of you are being a bit selfish and missing the bigger picture. This puts it nearer to mass population and is exactly what is needed to bring new blood to the sport, now and in the future. I see little need at all for a show just for people involved already and completely aware of everything surrounding It, and it will be inspiring to go to a show that isn't a sea of grey hair.

    People have been asking these questions about many products in Australia since the availability of comparison due to the Internet.

    Just make sure to often clean the aluminium out that gathers between the teeth, it can lead to chunks of the blade coming off otherwise.

    I would agree with your sentiments, I was quite angry about some aspects of the Sierra kit I bought, I hope Ray has cleaned up those aspects, however, it doesn't change that they are one of the easiest and fastest out there to build, and with local knowlege and support. The OP has stated the Belite is too expensive, so maybe the Morgan, and certainly any Vans series are out of the picture anyway.

    I think that's an issue, lack of other builders and backup, and is one of the reasons I often nominate a Morgan, lots of backup and builders in Australia.

    ND are owned and made by Toyota, and helped Toyota to it's famous reliability status. I raced classic motocross for over a decade, old air cooled 2 strokes, Maicos, Bultacos, CZs etc and the only plug that would stand up to them was ND. Eventually everyone was running them except for a couple of NGK diehards. Champion runners had a standard motto: "Giz a push will ya mate"

    Unless you are stuck somewhere, you never clean a plug. They now understand what a mistake it was to do so 'back in the day'. You replace them, period. Go get some Nippondenso (ND) plugs, NGK are a distant second place and no other brand rates. ... and that's when the fight started.

    One of the hi-wings because of ease of resale, either a 701 or 750. There are very slow though, if you need speed then an Australian Morgan Sierra.

    Very much so, 24/7. These months my day starts around 9 in the morning and finishes at 2 to 3am. Exciting times, slow down soon. I did get to Shenzen last weekend for a few day rest and business mix, I purposely flew to Zhuhai and caught a ferry across to Shenzen (1 hour trip) so I could see the Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau bridge, just mind boggling. Opens this year, I'm sure there will be tourist trips across and back. As I was writing this I am informed that the bridge opened today.

    ?? Is that a comment from experience, because I do it everyday. I didn't like the camera to begin with,but now completely used to glancing at it, and the rear mirrors, and the environment without a problem at all. Nope, killed the guy. The guy in front of the Vans had already pulled off onto the grass, he didn't want to be anywhere near the front of the Warbird.
