    Just saw the news. Although we throw crap at the news for not knowing planes: It is worrying when you hear the radio call just after the crash and it says: "Aircraft crash, runway 36"

    If/when you ask/call for a radio check, the usual reply is "Loud and Clear". But what are the words allowed for the reply. Loud, quiet, (what?) Clear, Broken, Noisy, (and?) Yeah, they may be listed somewhere, but I thought I'd ask here. Someone?
