    I think I be looking at replacing a jab with a 912 s or a 582:amazon: I feel safer

.I have a friend who but a jab in a lightwing and he always got the heads of the thing he always trying to get it right ,,

but in saying that I know of others early jabs that are going fine and still getting around everywhere with no problems so to me it sound like a late model issue '

  4. hope the rest of you south Aussies are holding up OK? We've lost x2 10 meter long corrigated fence pannels and a few tree branches. and stronger winds predicted later on?.. hoping at the end of this all the trees at the end of runway 06 have blown down? can only hope

  5. IMG0009.jpg.726b05630e33e0cd500fb7f95e2056e7.jpg I am like maj I love my Ligthwing I am in the process of rebuilding 032 with a new 582 which I found is the perfect match for this. Airframe this will be my second Ligthwing as I had 0229 for over eleven years with a 582 which could easy out climb an out perform most other aircraft of it class we flew from top to bottom of the east coast many times without a single problem from the little two stroke so I am very fond of the Ligthwing.

Thats great to hear Winsor68 as mine is number 004... and I hate the thought of selling 2 good planes and ending up with somthing less...Im glad to hear the early ones are a good thing . My research tells me I made a wise choice in the lightwing and I just can,t wait to pick her up..2-3 weeks and she'll be hear...a lil longer and my hanger will be clear

my 0032 is the first certified lightwing put into production witch I am rebuilding through Carlo Prete will be prould as punch when we get her airborne she as a history of being the first on floats & also the army flew her from east to west australia and back again back in the early days of ultralights days ......she be my second lightwing that I have owned I had 0229 who now lives at insfail

  7. I use oZrunway in my car as learning tool and in my parasol I found it a tool very reliable & up todate tool

I still plan with maps but use them as a backup when required I look forward to the time when the Ipad will replace the old out dated system . I will be mounting a place in my lightwing for my eletronic flight bag :-)
