Good luck with itwhat?? i am going on 2 years, for the same reason! it really is insidious how it lines up like that. I have beaten the system a couple of times by booking an afternoon lesson during the week, but those are the exception.oh well fingers crossed for a nice nav on saturday...I was working at Weipa at the time took leave to do my and I did all the paper work waiting for a chance to get my bum in the left hand seat blood rain just kept coming .....

Took me two weeks to do my RAA certificate because of rain. Innsfail weather !

U will get that speed but ya have to set up on the step first mate if u look at your wingtip u should be level with the horizon and have a slightly nose Down attitude , well that how my old girl flew at 70 kn she had a 582 ..

Yes there a tough little plane much like a j 3 cubbie me thinks !I've seen a few occasions when Lightwings have been really planted-on, and everyone around goes "Jeez, thank god they're tough, many others would'nt have got away with that". Probably a bit like the Auster in that regards, "bouncey, bouncey!" if not done right.-

25 0032 is now ready to fly just waiting to sort out the regoYes that one was redone at the factory, and as you say not a lot of problems found apart from the recover and repaint, after 4500 hrs.Mines eleven years old now, just done 600 hrs and still in great shape, and very reliable transport. I've only owned it for three years by the way.The first one out of the factory (032)is now being rebuilt after a prang some years ago, and the third out of the factory (035 I believe) was sitting there looking pretty on the line at the Old Station fly-in this year. It belongs to one of our forumite David See, and he is very happy to own it. Like the old 63 Falcon or EH Holdens they'll keep on keeping on......................................................................Maj...

Yes it works pretty well I think it can pin point your phone or iPad up to a range of about 10 meters or better les has it on when ifly she can see where I am with in my flight so if thing should go pear shape she would have an pretty good idea where I isFunny you should say that.I thought I had left my iPad in the car but looked twice and couldn't find it. I used the Where is my iPad app and it was accurate enough that it differentiated between house and car in the driveway. It WAS in the car!Kaz
