Now the ' burnoff smoke ' is killing us !.

Both my wife & I, had a bad time with that thick smoke over Sydney.

The hospital said pneumonia,  now they say partial collapsed lung, with scarring. 

The wife is having breathing problems even today.

And they keep the number that died very quiet.

And ' Alcohol related liver ' problems. Smoking cancer.

I'm  lucky !, with lots of ' blood transfusions ' l haven't got aid  s.

Just read about a NEW ' ignition system ', utilising Plasma .

Have to have a special sparkplug, then all the extra electronic modules to bolt on an existing engine.

I always thought the bronze-age was the Worse carbon release in any history.

They had to burn many trees to meke bronze from raw copper !.

Burn the tree to make charcoal, burn that charcoal to make the fire hot enough to make Bronze, for !

Iv,e never recycled a lead acid battery !.

Had to get my Fishing weights from somewhere & my diving weights, to day,s batteries are not much cop for collecting lead.

Putting me out of that Job. LoL

Fire extinguisher,s are a waste !.

When used on Other people's property.

You,d be lucky to get a " thak you " after puting out a car fire, knowing it Will be trucked away & written off by the insurance  Company. ' let it burn ' is not such a bad thing when there,s no good at the end !.

I have lost two now, for others fires !.

I aquired a ' emergency resuscitate machine ' With an oxygen bottle, the bottle was packed in a cardboard aerated box.

It was Never used or wanted to be used !.

That o2 bottle is probably available tobay. At eBay $65 for deposable bottle.

That didn,t happen for Bill Belcher  ( a sailor ) two epirbs that didn't work.

Cut the drougs ( antidrift lumps ) off his liferaft & set sail for Brisbane. He was picted up within sight if the coast. 

I took my two obsolete epirbs apart and found one had a loose none- soldered antenna wire, & the other ( older ) one a leaking battery.

SO 

I had two dudes out of two.

Yes both had the test signal OKed

I did try a plastic fantastic battery chainsaw, 

But the fist time it hit a knotty hard bit a plastic gear stripped.

To buy a replacement gear here was over two thirds the price of the chainsaw.

I begged people going to Oshkosh to buy it from a local ( huge  ) store.

No taker,s, & l don,t blame them, even if a shopping trip could be entertaining . LoL

I have an electric hedge trimmer !.  (  240 volt )

BUT

l cut its wire accidentally and it died with a pop.

Frightened the life out of me. Blew the handle apart.  All repaired now & still going well since 1982.

Are you guessing the last quarter km.  ( Bankstown. 34ft /  10 mtr )

' Fuel management '.

So an ultralite aircraft consuming 5 Lph with a 20 litre tank, HAS to have 30 minutes  of reserved fuel to !.

Do what ?.  ( over-fill the tank ). Carry 22.5 litres.
