"What causes icing
simple question, as I was studying RAA flying, Not super sonic, semi space-ship, miles high jet liner,
I automatically Assumed "Carburetor icing".
But some of the other questions were also relating to commercial aircraft.

An aside for my "new language" remark.
On 22 February 2012, Google Translate added Esperanto as its 64th language.[16] On 28 May 2015, the language learning platform Duolingo launched an Esperanto course for English speakers. As of 12 November 2016, over 600,000 users had signed up,[17][18][19] with approximately 30 users completing the course everyday.
The Polish-Jewish ophthalmologist L. L. Zamenhof published the first book detailing Esperanto, Unua Libro, on 26 July 1887. The name of Esperanto derives from Doktoro Esperanto ("Esperanto" translates as "one who hopes"), the pseudonym under which Zamenhof published Unua Libro.[8]
Thanks to wikipedia.

Are you saying that at minus 40 degrees C, in "Antarctic's Dry Valley", you will never ever get icing in your "Cessna" carburetor.
Not even frozen petrol
I have seen a "Petter" single cylinder diesel that wouldn't spray from the injector because of the fuel not going through the nozzle, too cold, had to heat the fuel & lines.
At Ashbourne Derbyshire England.

HEY
Nev,
That,s what I said, "The cooling is caused by expansion of the air through the carburetter (adiabatic, with drop in pressure) and the latent heat of vaporisation of the fuel."
It was deemed wrong, as they were theorizing wing icing on a jumbo at altitude,
No mention of any temperature at any time, just moisture content.
For a RAA test it's Despicable.

I said Darwin was/is the worst place to fly, with up to 90% humidity.
The Antarctic the safest!.
As long as your petrol didn't freez.

Thank you!. I've given my flight training away, due to the stupid bureaucracy in the exam papers, as I haven't the education to understand the complexity of some of the questions.
Who ever heard of "carburetor-icing" being caused by "moisture in the air".
It makes Darwin NT, the worst place to fly piston engine planes,
and
The McMurdo Dry Valleys in Victoria Land west of McMurdo Sound in Antarctica the best
The question was in my "Basic aeronautical test.
I failed!, Yet I passed the online test, which counts for zip.

"We could make it the rule that anything you did for a good safety reason would not be punished and you would be protected from punishment.
Alas, this is way too much to ask from a bureaucracy."
bureaucracy hasn't a conscience, or heart, as for safety they (the invisible) don't care a fig if it kills 9 people on the road to Darwin, or the rural Firies kill more than a dozen with the smoke hazard,
But the Victorian storm had no bureaucrats and all hell is let loose, for how many diseased?.

The aero engine has a built in super-charger, called "the propeller", it just needs to be configured to get that big turbo utilized.
And whatever happened to the "Commer two-stroke diesel" of the sixties

Has any-one got a design for the 100mm angle-grinder, copying machine that YENN is talking about, ( I saw one many years ago) that could be used by a lowly amateur.
Made a few props but having trouble getting both ends identical, After the prop is finished, balancing puts a different shape on one blade to make it lighter.
The blank looks great but 600grams heavy at one end, is too much to use weights in the hub area.

And the price?. $39. aus or us............. Got it $55.70 aus

And
That's the problem with the bureaucratic test that lumps all flying in one basket.
In a motor driving test you don't have to learn all types of vehicle's in the first learner's test. Imagine the failure rate learning about articulated or track vehicles.
Even RAA doesn't stray far from the CASA privet license test curriculum. Yet the air clubs can interpret the rules that it wants to, then the instructors interpret the club rules their way,
& when CASA puts its foot down, the serfs at the bottom are kicked in the Arsxx.: So: an itemized memory card for each aircraft is going into the "TOO HARD BASKET"
lets just get it done, a Big card for a jumbo jet, and a small card for a light plane, & a smaller still card for the smallest aircraft.

80knts, "6. what mounting system will this ICP engine employ? ..
Why only those two motors & not the two main ones from the USA?.
If RR or Ford made their motor's to fit everyone's car, we wouldn't have to chop & change the motor mounts on each custom build we like.

In the land of the loong white cloud, the local brew was "Redband".
I always wondered if it was watered down as it tasted like 50% tap water, (on Tap).
in Dublin I had to chew the local drought beer, couldn't just drink it down.

Question 1, Not at lot! :an instructor telling you to buy the Bob Tait books, But I enjoyed the practical flying. (air-work)
Question 2, yes more then expected.
Question 3, It might have been there but with a very slow phone-modem, was not much help.
The question's were worded different to expectation,
" what causes icing?" while the answer could be correct, "moisture content of air molecule's", is not in any book of LIGHT aircraft training I've read.

"- they have populated Canvas (the LMS they purchased access to) with SCORM content .."/- _Axcelerate_ SMS - Wordpress online enrolment"/keep all records for finance and_ ASQA ._./
"the fact that an online access system to an LMS works should be taken as a given"...........(given what?).
Way-wayyy over my poor head!.

"So as an example if they wrote a maintenance course on the Rotax 912 each organization could utilize it and share it within their chosen groups on various platforms".
Who is the "they" writing a maintenance article for an engine manufacturing company in Germany. i
And should we (the public at large) trust unknown's putting out said paper's instead of getting the proper article's from the manufactures.
CASA & other Australian's should be weary of American influence, (FAA) putting the laws we have into a mix-mach of worst rubbish that we have now, ( it takes two lawyers to decipher our papers now, how many will it take to unravel them, with a team of American lawyers putting their two cents_worth in.

That's probably the reason I make No sense of this american system: "The standard uses XML, and it is based on the results of work done by AICC, IMS Global, IEEE, and Ariadne."
plus: "They have designed the course properly, they have brought a paper based course and test that CASA has approved in law via the SAAA into the RAA universe and they have built a well designed and run LMS." (they RAA)
scorn "oops" SCORM.
I recognize :IEEE , The input code for putting parts ( GPS/ counter's ETC, into computers)
LMS: London Midland Service: Railway in the UK.

Our local drag-car engine builder pushes his motor to:
17,000 RPM: (red line)
V8 of course,4 cams 24 valves, and a super sized super-charger.
Used to say "It's got 1,000hp, then tells " that the Dyno gauge only went to that figure".
