Many on here would have witnessed Nester Slepsev flying backwards in his Storch with a slight headwind. Well it looks like he might have some serious competition. For the past half hour i've been tracking aircraft on Flightradar24 and there's a Saudi Arabian Airlines 747SP currently Near Wagga Wagga flying backwards at 37,950ft. It shows an airspeed of 0 knots.

I reckon they must have forgotten something, maybe, undoing the tie-downs.
What do you think?

Congratulations Enoch, thats a nice little aircraft.
I have nice photo of it taking off from The Oaks somewhere on my computer.
If I can find it, i'll post it on here.
Unless i'm wrong, it was based at Wedderburn.
Should be a great hour builder for you.

G'day Darren,
Just caught up with this site again. Nice to see some very familiar names on here also (Hi guys)
Good luck Gimmer with collating details for your thesis. Not sure about all of the answers given by DaveC in his post.
Surely if you fly in a draughty Bantam, anything warmer on a flight to London would be a bonus, providing you get that you get that all important smile from the cabin attendant.
On a serious note, my personal dislike on longflights, is having the mis-fortune to being seated next to a 23 stone man adjacent to the exit door for 25hrs all the way from London to Sydney and trying to feed myself with my arms only able to move from below the elbows.
Not sure whether it's true or not, but when it's time for the long sleep period on long-haul flights, the temperature seems to be raised and the oxygen reduced to help passengers sleep.
I normally take a bottle of old-fashioned smelling salts with me, otherwise I feel I can't breath properly.
Done the trip a couple of dozen times and it always seems the same to me.
Kind Regards
Alan
PS Jabiru 3190 is still going strong. Took the girlfriends grandson for a TIF at The Oaks a couple ofSundays ago.

while in the back row at the movies, pretending to search for the elusive bag of Maltesers....................

Didn't get a chance to look it up before midnight to see what it was about.
The big question is....................
Why would Pharmacutical companies want to find a real cure, when they make countless millions each year, with remedies that simply make ones symptoms more tollerable:question:

The dog without the ABS, simply dresses to the left (in tailoring terms) and it's Chinese owner calls it Wun-ung-Lo.

Had to rub all the ice off, something my fingers really didn't appreciate!
Grab yourself a small piece of perspex sheet Tomo, and put a sharp bevelled edge on it. makes a great frost scraper and its kinder to the fingers, or pinch your mums hairdrier..

Dave, the Savannah is a great little aircraft, sounds like you've got a lot of good times ahead of you wth your new toy. I'm envious.

As many of you deviates would know replied Nana, "i'm well past the age of wearing one of Guernsey's G-strings, but with happy memories, a smile on my face and a glint in my eye, I can at least remember when"...........

Nana added " It limits the amount of bounce so I can see clearly, when...........

I get all my empties dropped off in OME's bin

If they're re-used OME, you'll probably find there will be a new lesser tax to cover that as well. (What a bummer)

Turbo didn't realise you wanted a one-way trip, most people he advises, also want to come back like Charlie Drake. (But you're probably far too young to remember him)
Have a lovely trip anyway Tomo
Kind regards

Have you checked the breather hole in the fuel cap is not blocked?
Maybe try it on the ground with fuel filler cap loosened to make sure it's breathing ok

I feel the same as nunans, whilst I wouldn't normally go searching model forums, many of us have been builders in past years, and can't help but be impressed with seeing some of Micks models for example.I'm sure there are plenty of forum contributers/RAA members who have been, or still are also into aero modelling. There are dedicated forums like Archeli etc but there's no harm in adding something here.Given the opportunity to try and fly them, many who fly RAA would be amazed how much skill is required to fly some of them, if in fact they could even manage to.
My nephew flys amongst other things, a 200mph jet model which I couldn't control to the end of the paddock.
Some of he giant sized models which you can view on youtube have up to 4 pilots and are worth a small fortune.
SORRY! posted it the wrong thread

Sorry for the delay in replying Sally and also getting the PIC wrong, however, I loved the video.......how cool were you! I think to have this knowledge is priceless. No, it was me, Sally, yes it was an Alpha 160.Many moons ago I used to teach skid-control techniques on a skid pan in the UK. A lot of what I learned was from the Metropolitan Poilce Driver Training School at Hendon. With the knowledge that I learned, it got me out of a few unexpected situations which could have turned rather ugly without it, driving on snow-covered and wet roads. It didn't mean that I was going to drive like a hoon with that knowledge, as I was always tought that good driving should be considered an art. Safe flying in my books would have to be the same. Didn't see you at Red Baron on Saturday, only saw the Pitts doing circuits.
Good luck with your additional training and thanks for posting.
Kind Regards

Could well be right there nuans.I thought if quite amusing that the aircraft come with 'Jigs' so you can start mass producing your undercarrige!I mean how many times have they crashed and mangled the U/C? must have been enought times to justify building the jig,Loved this bit...........
Second hand kitplanes are alot like women who've been through a few marriges.
Everyone's fiddled with them, they've cost thier partners alot of cash and they come with their fair share of baggage.
