  1. Anybody have information on any jailtime done for ano infringement?
  2. Nothing to do with the justice system... immigration, done wrong has extreme consequences.
  3. Nev, I agree with your reasoning. Walking with my German sister in law one day we saw a local park in terrible condition due to gross littering. When she said, wouldn't happen at home,I asked why. She said because of the 2000 mark fine! No graffiti in China or Vietnam. But at what cost you may ask? Same with breach of ano's. Given the rather exclusive membership of pilot communities (incl lawyers) I wonder if it would work (jailing them?) Rgds and happy new year, Don Sorry, thought it was facthunter, still applies Turbo.
  4. Most light twins have sufficient power on one engine to fly you directly to the site or of the accident.
  5. Jailing for infringement of ano is a bit harsh I'd think.
  6. Not necessarily as long as no passengers.
  7. I think the Dromadier (? spelling) had the same engine leading to modifying with turbines.
  8. Typical upper class airline captain (grin).
  9. Years ago, a friend hired his Mooney to an RAAF pilot. Taking off from Wagga following a Herc, apparently not waiting for wake turbulence to abate, he rolled at ground level, only saved by the Chrome/moly roll cage provided free to every Mooney occupant.
  10. I flew our club's new Jab 170 yesterday with Dynon panel. Mate next to me said that he thought the ball on the display had a significant delay over the spirit ball in front of him. Is this a widespread observation from members who fly with Dynon? Bit of tread drift, sorry.
  11. This topic was covered in some detail a few years ago. I think from memory Castrol 2T was the winner. Castro specialises in lubricating oils and most had good experience with it. Synthetic oils, people believed, had less persistence in maintaining a residual film between uses. FWIW. Just sayin'.Don
  12. Echo Juliet Juliet shown above could be the one that I mentioned.
  13. There's one based at Wedderburn. Has tip tanks, all that I know about it. Looks good.
