  4. .........televisions got to do with engines ??. Plasma is old technology now, every TV I know of now uses OLED....... Special note to the broad thinking NES readers, the "T" is not for trans.
  5. ........it became evident that drifters are not meant to have the engine up front so flying these wonderful machines backwards has introduced a new set of hazards. Viz is not easy when facing where you have been. Neck braces are not cheap. The ailerons are now a differential cannard. The elevator tends not to self center very well. .........
  6. ......the fact that he was left handed.....
  7. ......he owns a place in NSW called Mudgee with his own airstrip on in called YMDG....
  8. Question without notice. What is it you speak of master when you talk of pot hole ?? , I thought that they were rabbit holes. Have I set up the steel jaws in the wrong place? Further clarification on rabbit proof fence, this is a device to slow down the bunnies to allow time to carefully place beer can down and pick up Winchester.
  9. ......load the speed camera equipment ( sorry road safety equipment ) .......
  10. ......fired up the.Morry minor with the freshly installed 14L turbo Cummins engine......
  11. .....then fell silent as it was pointed out rhat the smoking was going to be holes in the ground at the runway end fence. Even the more powerful blue head drifters would not lift off with six bums on board......
  12. ...special government price for the chips....
  13. .....idiot because Maccas is not chip and if you try it you probably won't want it.....

  16. ......Implement a policy of not shooting the ground staff who are only employees of the Darraweit Guim lead and brass mining company......
  17. ......as he neared the Drifter and saw the propulsion system. This wonderful blend of high tech innovation consisting of two Morry minor 850 engines welded together driving a Cummins injector pump to power a hydraulic prop drive with a seven foot prop. To save shearing the boom off it was cut and placed in front of the pod in a cannard style. What could possibly go wrong ? ......
  18. ......ASIC cards, which they had some difficulty getting. Not like the trolley dolleys who got their ASIS cards just handed out....
  19. .....stop and the 14 litre Cummins engine roared into life......
  20. ......make every person vewing the famed NES that the stall speed may not be as listed in the POH.....
  21. Just to clarify for all those offended Jackoff owners. The new and improved super upmarket refined model Jackoff is modeled on a thruster T300 which has a glide ratio of i:1 on a hot day (above 60 deg c) when above bitumen if black. If conditions change the glide range will decrease. Now the new super you beaut Jackoff can better this due to the addition of the optional winglets.
  22. Small edit here Captain. The glide ratio is more like 4 point 3 to 1. and that's only in a thermal on a bloody hot day.
  23. A waypoint does not need to be an airfield. I rarely use airfields as waypoints due to the danger. It is easy to use an easily identifiable feature like a dam or town etc. At an airfield, when you think about it the inbound traffic will be looking down at the sock or for circuit traffic. The over flying traffic will probably be looking at the flight plan or tablet (map) for time / next heading etc. and nobody is really looking for traffic. Safer to not be over the top unless plenty high.
  24. As usual thanks for your input Nev.
  25. Not trying to create an argument but rolling onto the runway will shorten the required distance as will not using flap until desired lift off speed. Early backstick also increases drag.
