Able to run the program without installing it

 

MetarWeather - METAR decoder: decode METAR weather reports from around the world

Run the software then top left >>> File >>>> Load Metars from the Net >>> bycountry/state Australia >>>>>> then choose the Area >>>>>>>> Get Metar Reports >>>>>>>> double click on the line to get more infomation

how do I get weather for area 30? When I click on in Australia I can't get anything for area 30 I can get all big airports. But there's only visibility, wind direction . dew point, No cloud information. no forecast. where am I going wrong?

Go into the BOM website, then aviation products, ARFORs, then Area 30.

 

It should come up here http://www.bom.gov.au/products/reg/area30_arf.shtml

I was hoping to see a translation into plain english. The area 30 forecast can be confusing and I'm afraid I might accidentally miss something of importance...G

You are right Ian. The way you have set up your westher page is much easier and user friendly than going thru the BOM. Thanks & regards Geoff
