440032 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I saw a lady faint and fall onto the baggage carousel at the airport. She was okay, after she finally came around. 7
onetrack Posted January 18 Posted January 18 A vulture is catching an airline flight to avoid bad weather, and the check-in attendant asked if he has any baggage to check in. The vulture says, “No, just my carrion.” 5
facthunter Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Depending on the Class of the Hold, being left in in one can be fatal.. Nev 1
ClintonB Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Are the holds pressurised like the cabin? wouldn’t they be freezing cold also if not using AC in the baggage areas. 1
onetrack Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Clinton, as I understand it, virtually all commercial airliner holds are pressurised and heated and ventilated the same as the cabin. This is to ensure luggage, perishable goods, and pets being carried in the hold, are not damaged/killed by extreme cold and low pressures. 1 1 1
