Steve ZK Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Hi Everyone, I am looking for tips on how best to replace the bungy for the nose wheel. If anyone can point me in the best direction, I would be most appreciative. Cheers, Steve
Blueadventures Posted October 29 Posted October 29 There are images of the tool they use. I changed one a few years back and used a straight 900mm crowbar to pull the bungee up and over the top lug. A loop of Spectra cord was used between the crowbar and bungee and also a small block of soft wood was placed were the tip of the crowbar pivoted on the metal. Didn't mark the paint and worked. Have an image I chase up if needed. 1 1
Steve ZK Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 Thanks very much. If you have images that would be appreciated. Approaching the 1000 hours mark so trying to tick off some boxes along the way.

Talc powder on bungee will assist sliding if needed. Edited October 29 by Blueadventures 2 1
skippydiesel Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Wow! Thats one gigantic coolant expansion bottle - if thats what it is. Got to be x 3 of my Rotax unit. What does the down pointing SCAT tube do?😈
Steve ZK Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 Awesome and thanks for that. It does look like I need to loose the brackets at the bottom of the nose gear to get the bungy behind.
