Light plane down near Nebo 28/09/25

Light aircraft down near Nebo, west of Macka,y not much information  other than Facebook,

Unfortunately, the aircraft caught fire upon crashing, and the pilot is deceased.  😞  It is understood the aircraft was a gyrocopter. What is going on, with the level of air crashes lately?

ABC is reporting a helicopter (They may be mixing up a gyro) and that it started a further grass fire that took time to bring under control.  Dry up this way now so heaps of grass fuel for bush fires. None of my local sources have any detail of the event.

People are posting on GA, and overseas data. RA as reported appears to be consistently better than a decade or so ago, however reports seem to be haphazard compared to those times.
