I regularly watch an Emirates A380 come in for a landing in Perth in the late afternoon, from a Northerly point on the Tonkin Hwy near Muchea, as I travel South, back towards Perth city. Even from 30 or 40 kms away, it's a truly impressive sight in the sky, it is just massive, but graceful at the same time.

I have a nephew who is an Emirates pilot .

But that's all I know,  No routes or anything important. 

Did once say, that he had  flown to Australia.  But , no city or even state. 

So couldn't invite him over for a  home cooked dinner .
