Bosi72 Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Hi Joe, Welcome to the forum. The path to RPL is a 3-step process, and doing it in order below, will save you $$: 1. get your medical 2. study and pass the theory exam 3. do the flying Most importantly, enjoy your journey ! Cheers! 1
facthunter Posted January 4, 2025 Posted January 4, 2025 You probably have the medical and all your relevant experience transfers to your new interest. CASA have lots of info on it on the web. As I see it the RPLicence is a distance restricted licence to fly VH planes. RAAus planes operate on an RPCertificate. To fly the RAAus Numbered aircraft, you must hold a RAAus certificate even if you Held a Ist ATPL or a Senior Commercial. Prior. I've never held an RPL. You might as well go straight to a PPL. Nev
