Beechcraft Baron crashes whilst on fire near East Kimberley airport, Kununurra (16-04-2022)

Two men have been airlifted from Kununurra to Darwin in critical condition with serious burns, after their Beechcraft Baron crashed near the East Kimberley airport shortly after 8:30AM today (Saturday 16th April, 2022).

The aircraft is understood to have been on charter, with the pilot and one passenger on board. No further information is currently available.

I trust these blokes pull through O.K., but their crash scenario is nightmare stuff - on fire, resulting in a crash, and trapped in the wreckage.
