Ansett Air Cargo had 3 Carvairs, VH-INJ, VH-INK and VH-INM. Nationwide Air in NZ had 2, ZK-NWA and ZK-NWB. My photo of VH-INJ:

They are based on a Douglas C-54/ DC-4 with larger tail and rudder probably from a DC-6 to balance the enlarged forward keel surface The engines are P&W R-2000s Nev.
