Nice video Peter :) You could watch it all day couldn't you? I knew a few of those planes on there :) The cross winds here get 'interesting'. I've had a few 'interesting' moments in my little ultralight here also :D Thanks for sharing!

That looks like the crosswind I had at Boonah on thursday.

Some of these guys would save themselves alot of Heart ache if they flew final down the centre of the runway holding the into the wind, wing down to counteract drift.Once settled they then have to only have to make, minor adjustments.(In pitch and roll)Works realy well in high wing aircraft .This crabbing into the wind and kicking straight will get them into alot on trouble if they start that in a TW aircraft.

 

PS- No need to roll level when touching down.Land on the into the wind wheel first.
