Simply beautiful ... and awesome - all in the one. Fantastic post. (but I bet Sixties has some difficulty with the side stick fly-by-wire bit)

 

Are left hookers preferred as Airbus Captains? I reckon it'd feel a bit weird, me being RHS - like all of us less sinister folk;)

Fascinating for someone who has only seen through a cockpit door for a couple of minutes while parked at the gate. What caught my attention was the continuing adjustments to what I assume are the elevator trim wheels by the flight director.
