  1. First flight with the Arrows Sky Cruiser 1400. Easy to assemble, easy to fly and looks good in the air with its high viz scheme...
  2. Eh, no. The first post was a flight on the Friday and today's post was a flight on the Saturday...which I actually thought was even better.
  3. Originally powered by 4 turbines but now converted to electric ducted fans by RamyRC for Tyler Perry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0ayT4AMcck
  4. Top weekend at Old Warden Aerodrome ModelAir event supporting Stuart and Andreis from HobbyKing. Flew several times with 12 year old Finn attempting to do some half decent formation flying with the new Avios Super Tucano that's coming out in August. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEelBvNaxQU
  5. Scratch built Beechcraft Model 18 powered by twin Saito 90 3 cylinder radial engines by Bernd at Airliner Meeting 2024. Doesn't get any better than this. Very well flown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRvuk9ORkAQ
  6. Converted from 4 x micro turbines to 4 x electric ducted fans but does it fly better ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCe4Zh7709w

  7. Tyler Perry's 1st flight of Ramy RC's Giant 149KG XXL C-17 Globemaster at Airliner Meeting 2024. Tyler flies in less than ideal conditions on the first day (i.e. Friday) of the Airliner Meeting Show. There was a 15mph cross wind but that didn't stop him from getting this big quad EDF powered jet into the air. This unique EDF jet was constructed by Ramy RC in Atlanta, United States and shipped to Oppingen, Germany just for this event. It weights 149KG and is powered by 4 200mm EDFs running on 14S. The maximum pack capacity used per EDF is 17000mah. Wingspan is 6.4 meters (21 ft), length is 6.35 meters (20.9 ft). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWqBVa7edUQ

  8. Trimmed out on first flight. Landed and adjusted rudder clevis into 3rd hole on the rudder horn for more throw. Let the 2nd flight do the talking.
  9. Sounds good for an electric ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdOZDiLsGuE

  10. I'm looking forward to trying one of these soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n05stHRwTvg
  11. Building this is one thing...but having the skill to fly it indoors is something else. Great skill demonstrated by master aero-modeller Andrew White. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sg33nACI9jA

  12. Canopy plastic wasn't clear enough to put an FPV camera inside so I mounted it up on the tail. Nice view seeing the aeroplane in the foreground with the scenery below... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UdfcBtplEU

  14. Our first time trying to fly Spitfires in formation. A few improvements required and I'll convert the 2nd Spitfire to FPV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1F074H0bsA

  15. The most fun I've had doing RC in a long time...
  16. Ultimate head tracked FPV. Looking forward to some formation flights with Red 2 in near future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xx0KNdf518
  17. Bad cross wind on that day and we get turbulence off the top of the trees at that location. I was focussing on reading the telemetry more than smooth flying most of the time. Some improvements still to make. Not sure why distance to home wasn't showing in the telemetry. I will look into that. And because I'm using a flight controller I will on future flights take advantage of the gyro stabilisation.
  18. I wouldn't have thought long flight times were possible with an EDF jet. Seems I was wrong! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrIq7ZYHqGw
  19. At only $65 for the ELRS version it's a great option for anyone joining the hobby... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqOkHOK4tBw
