    having started in GA then moving to RA aircraft I have notice the climb in prices. we now seem to be paying one hundred and fifty solo and hour for a good RA aircraft. that's what I was paying for GA when I first started And I know that RA training out of archer field QLD are paying over three hundred and hour. They really need to develop new rag and tube aircraft that is affordable. and market it. And try and get the RAA support. But some people think rage and tube and death traps that can make it a hard sell.

    So if the front seat pilots weights say 125 kg. it could be way forward of the COG? what is the empty weight of a drifter.

    I had a read of some of the posts. And have been to narromine but not temora. only because I have not had the time we should not boycott these events input is much better way to go. due to that fact we are rec pilots are not a large group. and we can't afford to lose them. I also take me hat off to the people who are flying there 55knt aircraft all the way to temora from all over OZ.

    flying a drifter is something I would like to do one. but I am going to have to shed some weight.

    yes dazza it always seems to be booked 6hrs today it was a bit quiet at caloundra the only other RAA aircraft flying was the sports star. but that could of been due to the weather.
