2 stroke endorsement intrigues me. I leant to fly Group A in a Tecnam 912uls 4 stroke but do I have a 4 stroke endorsement ?. i learnt Group D in an Aerochute with a 503 2 stroke but I don't physically have a 2 stroke endorsement. Whats hard about a 2 stroke - plugs, fuel and air filter , gear box oil. lot less maintenance than a 4 stroke.
With the x-air question, if you hold endorsements for the configuration of the Aircraft that should be all you NEED but flying with someone experienced would be a benefit. Plenty of upper air work to sort out stall and glide speeds at different stages of flap etc.
What if your getting a single seater, what could you do then.

If you could lay your hands on a 503 go for it but they are getting very hard to come by.

Why do you have to APPLY each time, nothing has changed, hopefully they still have all the details, if I'm a bad guy and I've been naughty am I going to tell them. Maybe they are just checking that I got my name right all those other times. Yes I may have changed address but send a printout and advise of any changes and attach cheque here.

Berocca would helpA bit like wives I guess, a harem would have it's challenges. -
Not many Sav Pilots use the 2nd stage of flaps. I found that on a glide approach and 2nd stage she was all over the place so for glide approach most use 1st stage or none at all. I have only landed STOL with an instructor a couple of times and he was on the controls under power approach with 2nd stage and stopped on a dime. Certainly not something to try without instruction.

Yes the uncontrolable shake in the leg (right rudder) first solo and after a long break or a different plane. Just ask Neil (Jaffa) how nervous I get. Neil would say "Relax Cozi". White knuckles on the stick. Deep breath.I have done the one circuit and race back to the safety of the ground I shortest flight ever. Also received some strange looks back at the flying school. early days my leg would start shaking just before T/O and I would be so tense I would stop breathing!Jabiru7252 thanks for sharing make me feel I am not alone. One thing that helps me is what Icarus said above. Study the strength of the aircraft your flying avg +4, -2 at MTOW. Look at old Silverado at GOFLY, over 7000hrs last time I looked.
