I should add -
I recognise the inevitability of E power and its benefits for the environment, as such I am a reluctant supporter
Reluctant because, after a lifetime of developing & enjoying IC engine skills, it will be a sad day when they are obsolete.
I hope I am either dead or past driving/flying by then. 😈
Quotebattery technology will improve
The catch Cry of Every E Zealot for at least the last 30 years.. It in reality Still hasn't
I would like someone Serious to do a 'Total Cost of Ownership including True Environmental Costing" on the 'E' products as I am sure it will Shock even the most adamant.

I don't have Starlink (yet) but I did find out early that my Iridium sat phone with external magnetic antenna on the car (similar LEO satellite type) started failing at 110km and was next to useless at 120..

One reason to use a single use Crush washer is to cope with a slight misalignment / damage of the Mating surfaces. An "encased" "O" ring is better and has the Bolt Bottomed out around the O ring so is fail safe. Also doesn't have to be tightened till your eyes water, or the thread strips . Nev
'Don't sump plugs hold the vehicles together" Seems that way after you get your car back from some service establishments .. or is 'tighten till it strips and backoff 1/2 a turn' Never quite sure😇

$1200 to shift to 24E. pretty much the same as 19. can be flown but not for hire or reward. its the way to unless its in a club or school.
It can't be hired etc. with an 'on condition' either. can it?
So the reason for not going 24E is?

The only way we could find the LSA55 I trained in when it was flying was The strobe on the tail.
Little planes disappear into the background

There is a successful car engine in a certified aircraft.
The tecnam diesel uses a Mercedes diesel
And Diamonds that first used them were out of the air for Years..
Had one sit on the strip here, as they were not allowed to just replace the engines with something 'normal'
It was internal piston cooling that failed in design... pretty sure resolved now.

Ignoring upsets the flow of a 'conversation' BUT as 'Fly Tornado' (former name?) was the most ignored member Is skippy trying to re-emulate the 'record'

The Cornelius XFG-1 was an experimental glider designed with an even more unusual role, to be towed behind a larger aircraft, such as a B-29 bomber, and act as an additional fuel supply to extend the range of the towing aircraft

Here is a "new" engine that is actually flying. Only 3 moving parts, yes it is a piston ported forced induction jet A burning 2 stroke. Has been in development for about 20 years.
Small Aircraft Jet Fueled Engine - DeltaHawk Engines

Powerful Technology Through Time-Proven Innovation. The first clean sheet piston engine design FAA certified in over 60 years.prices starting at $110,000 for the complete DHK180 package
No mention of the two cylinder suitable for smaller planes, other than the pdf spec sheet download
2 Cyl 120Hp is 16l/per hour but price is probably going to be in the R915 range😒
seems to have been in the 'coming soon' for ever

I regularly get suppliers (more often than not Chinese registered eBay sites but not exclusively) who are Obviously using AP for transportation, yet refuse to send to a PO (generally making security the excuse)
The way around is address to PO Box/Street Address of your Post Office
i.e. to send your PO box 75 the address is 75/xxx Street Address Your Town Postcode the 75/xxx are just examples and would be you own numbers.
Startrack Air Also sometimes needs this address varient to get PO instead of street delivery
Been using this for years
Oly problem was when a supplier who advertised using AustPost... sent by courier... AP refused to accept of course

It is because they are what is best described as 'lazy'.. Apple is One Standard Product.. One World - One Environment..
Android starts as one Base product from Google, Then is it is Hacked/Modified/Bastardised by every individual manufacturer to match their own particular hardware requirements and seeming Cultural peculiarities.
I believe even Google's own products use a varient not true Raw type.
It requires much more testing and coding to create a stable reliable constatant usability interface across the whole Android spectrum
AvPlan explained this in their early days so to explain the seemingly Biased development
