    The waiting for rego is its own kind of limbo, so I get why you'd rather keep it quiet until it's sorted. An hour of stalls at Temora sounds like a solid refresher even without anything dramatic happening — sometimes the low-key flights are the ones that actually teach you something. Funny how a few months can slide past before you notice. I'm curious whether you're planning anything longer once the paperwork clears, or just keeping it local for a while.

    The "if it looks right, it'll fly right" point is interesting to me as someone outside the hobby. Scale models like a 747 or that A380 must be a different problem entirely, since the proportions are fixed by the original and you can't just tweak them until they look right. I'd imagine that makes the engineering side much less forgiving, which is probably part of the appeal for the builders.
