The photo of the Quickie above was taken at AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 at the tribute to Burt Rutan during Thursdays airshow. Eight of his designs participated making that the first time in AirVenture history that many of Burt's designs were in the air at the same time. It was awarded "Outstanding Workmanship, Plans Built" later in the week at the Homebuilt awards ceremony. The aircraft first flew in 1989 and is a pure delight to fly. I especially enjoy explaining it to the curious...which is about everyone. Thanks for posting the photo.
