You have never required an asic or identification to walk around a terminal but they will have to change their surveillance of Passengers who are near the gate and have already passed through security. He wasn't unticketed but missed  the plane he was booked on. Murdochs News 24  likes fear and Hate. Not a great reference. source, Nev

My last flight back from LAX, sat down next to a guy from Geelong. His phone rang, very confused conversation followed.

It was QF telling him to hustle his ass to the departure gate. "But I'm ON the plane."

QF "Get yr A to the gate, NOW!"

"I... am... on... the... plane..."

Cabin MGR comes by, checks his pass and passport.

All very odd.

My QF pilot friend said yesterday "Yeah, it happens more often than you might think"

Long time ago, to be sure: I was a teeenager en route to the UK. Flew, PanAM, Business Class, Honolulu to San Diego, accompanied by two girl friends. No boarding parses/tickets for any of us. We were off a transiting but delayed QANTAS flight, that had a mechanical problem.  Got a right telling off at the San Diego end (always wondered what happened to the airline staff that let us board) - We thought the whole escapade was a great joke. To this day, not sure how we manged to talk ourselves onto another aircraft.

I just wonder how you survived travelling with TWO girlfriends.

I just wish your innuendo had a grain of truth - what a memory that would be 😈
