Hi Folks,

I use OzRunways on a iPad mini with SIM card and earlier this month and today I have flown travelling South West to overfly Heathcote and then more South West.

I mainly navigate by line drawn on a VTC and use OzRunways to verify position to hold off wind drift as my card type compass wheel vibrates left and right a bit..

Both times as I get near Puckapunyal army base(VIC) the GPS speed on the Ozrunways goes blank for a few seconds then my plane icon stops but my bubble continues and 5 NM ahead in this picture.

I realise something is wrong when I see the base closer than expected and see I have drifter left of track closer to the base than expected and spurs me to recheck again with the iPad.

I restart Oz runways and it seems to fix the issue or by the time i have restarted im past and I have attached screen shot showing what I mean.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I do a bit of work out at Pucka and often get GPS spoofing alerts.

The School of Artillery has a very active UAV program running out there so they could be playing with all sorts of interesting tech
