May just be the photo but those exhaust springs dont look heavy duty enough or at the best angle/position, to keep the pipe in the muffler.

Whats the hose clamp for?

springs are under tension. slightly stronger than origonal. all nice and tight.  there is a split in the collar that pipe goes into. i put the hose clamp on to keep it tight while i am ground running the engine. will taking it off to weld a new collar on before acr inspection.

there is also a clamp holding carb heat muff up. when i fit the scat hoses i will put the screws back in and remove that too.
