Plane crashes into restaurant in Brazil, killing 4

The plane, a Piper JetProp DLX, had taken off from the Criciuma Diomicio Freitas Airport in Capao da Canoa, southeastern Brazil at around 10.40am on Friday. The Piper JetProp DLX is a Piper Malibu moified with a turboprop engine.

 

But the six-seater jet clipped a pole at the end of the runway and crashed shortly after, killing all four on board. The restaurant was closed at the time.
