Don't assume an Instructor will Be willing and allowed to train you in it. Nev

The cfi I am thinking of will have no problem at all.

And our club has a list of rates for training in your own aircraft.

You didnt answer my question.

If its a home built aircraft, your CFI will not have the choice - (unless rules have changed) you can not receive instruction, in a homebuilt, that you did not build.😈

Didn't see your question sorry.

Yes it is a 19 rego kit built. And that is no problem.  You can't do your RPC in a home built unless you were the builder or assisted in the build as we have discussed before.

However you can do all your endorsements in a homebuilt without being the builder.

Not as time reliable but have you considered hitching a ride with a pilot wanting to do Nav's? (a little cost sharing may "sweeten" the deal)😈

I tend to go up for a week at a time. If all goes according to plan I will be able to fly myself up in one of my own aircraft by the end of the year.

Once again - While you live, you learn (I hope). Seems a tad inconsistent though. Why allow further training in a home built, if not initial?😈

Definitely the most cost effective option.

I hope to do my RPL conversion with Latrobe Valley Aero Club in my Mustang

Australia's DH 82 A Tiger Moths have not been able to be used as a Primary trainer since the  early 60's but you can be trained in them for Other purposes like Aeros and T/W,. Nev
