Lilydale / Bert Flood area accommodation choices

Hi forum members; I'm booked for a course at Bert Floods on 19 to 21 January 2026 and after any local ideas about accommodation choices eg, caravan parks, aero clubs etc. (I have just emailed the Aero Club to ask)

 

I'll likely fly down RPT on 18th and return home on 22nd so not rushed and maybe catchup with a forum member or two.

 

The dates info only came out at 2pm so if Floods is open Monday I'll get confirmation that I'm on that one and I'll book the flights down.

 

Appreciate any info.

 

Is anyone else booked on a course; the one I'm doing is the Heavy Maintenance one.  (On other dates they have Line Maintenance and iS engines a one day course.)
