When I was Meat Bombing, they gave me a Knife to cut the chute from the tailplane on such occasions. Ha Ha.  Nev

Could have been very bad.

He's only got to do what He eventually did. The horizontal; stabiliser is very strong and the Plane did not pitch Up. You do the drop as  slow as it is safe to do and with smaller planes you have a Lot of rudder on with people hanging on a strut and standing on  the UC leg. It IS B dangerous. No doubt about it.  Nev

if you look at his legs when he hit the result of stabiliser I'm surprised they were not both broken in half !
