Title says it all 🤩 for sometime now I have been eyeing off getting a Apple Watch, which will have quite a few possible benefits for me but I’m also interested in the aviation aspect of where the benefits could be so that I can justify myself. It’s worth spending the money on and I will get a decent one. Probably  an Ultra  3 which  seems full of features,  has cellular and even satellite?
I think if that’s any advantage to me for aviation purposes and anything else along the way.
So I’m interested in people‘s experiences with them and then I can work out if I can justify spending the money. I don’t think it’s worth going for the cheaper line of anything if I want the features and need them I’ve gotta pay for them.

If you slam into the ground to hard and fast your apple watch will call the emergency services. That's got to be worth something 😊

That's terrible treatment on behalf of your wife! Apple watches aren't designed to take that kind of abuse!

I've had a Garmin D2 Aviator watch for 6 years and just upgraded to a D2™ Air X15 https://www.garmin.com/en-AU/p/1957609/ Marvellous!

Real aviation flight plannikng &U navigation, METAR & TAF. I've added the Windy App to get my usual forecasts plus weather radar.

Over 10 days of battery life.
