As a child, flew with my parents in a Comet (probably lucky to survive).

Beautiful looking aircraft. Unexpectedly small interior.

Love the pilot(s) flight cap & gloves - no recollection of these when invited up to the flight deck.😈

I’d forgotten how many stops planes used to have to make. And here was I complaining about having one stop between Oz and Europe. 😛
